Dynamic Design Elements in Flexitive are elements controlled by a Data Feed uploaded in the Admin panel of your Flexitive site. After building the first variation of a design with Dynamic Design Elements, you can use the first variation as a template to automatically create a design campaign with a single click.

Dynamic Design Elements are connected to a Data Feed that has already been Uploaded to Flexitive. In a given design, you can link one feed to the design for use in Automated Variation Creation.

Dynamic Design Elements can either be created as Image Elements, or as Text Elements.

Creating Dynamic Design Images

To add a dynamic image to your design, you'll first need to add a Placeholder image. The placeholder can be any image file, and in the example below I've added a simple image of a white box to the design as my placeholder image.

After the Placeholder image is added to the canvas, you can turn the image into a dynamic element in the Size & Position Panel for the element.

Open the Customize Panel on the left-hand side of the editor, and switch the 'Dynamic Design' toggle to ON.

After toggling 'Dynamic Design' on, you'll have access to the 'Feed' and 'Unit' dropdowns. If you have not set a feed yet for the design, you will need to first select a 'Feed' for the design.

After setting the feed, choose the 'Unit' of the design. After choosing the Unit, the element will update with the image you've selected.

Creating Dynamic Design Text

Similarly to creating Dynamic Design Images, creating a Dynamic Design Text starts with adding a placeholder text box to your design. This is done by tapping the 'Text' option in the Left Hand Side Navigation.

After adding the text box to the canvas, select the text box and open the Size & Position panel and 'Dynamic Design' toggle to ON.

After toggling 'Dynamic Design' on, you'll have access to the 'Feed' and 'Unit' dropdowns. If you have not set a feed yet for the design, you will need to first select a 'Feed' for the design.

After setting the feed, choose the 'Unit' of the design. After choosing the Unit, the element will update with the text you've selected.
