Once you've finalized the data feed you will be using in your Flexitive design, you will next need to upload that data feed to use in Automated Variations.

To upload a Data Feed, first, enter the Admin Panel by clicking the 'Admin' option to the Right of the Need Support Widget at the top of your Flexitive instance.

After entering the Admin Panel, there will be a set of tabs at the top of the open the 'Datafeeds' tab to access a list of your Data Feeds.

Once you've opened the Data Feeds tab, it is possible to upload a new data feed file, add a feed via a URL, or edit an existing data feed.

Uploading a New Data File

The first upload option when adding a new data feed to your Flexitive site is to Upload a New Data File.

When uploading a new data file, you will want to upload one of either a Excel File (.xlsx) or a Comma Separated Value File (.csv).

To upload a new data file to Flexitive, click the Upload New Data File button in the Data Feeds panel. Next, in the modal that appears in the pace of the Upload New Data File button, click Upload and select a file to upload to Flexitive.

At this time, you can upload CSV, XML, and XLSX files to Flexitive to be used as data feeds.

Once you've uploaded your file, click Next. You can then enter a name for your data feed and click 'Submit'.

After clicking Submit, the feed will be added to your site and is added to the list of feeds in your Data Feeds tab.

Add a Feed From a URL

If you have created your data feed on Google Sheets, you can provide a URL link to your data feed, rather than uploading a CSV or XLSX file. To upload a data feed from a Google Sheet URL, you will first need to set your Google Sheet as publicly shared.

To input a URL, click on 'Add Feed From URL' in the Data Feeds tab.

After clicking 'Add Feed from URL', copy and paste the URL for your feed into the 'Enter URL' field in the modal that appears, and click 'Next'.

Next, enter a name for your data feed and click 'Submit'.

After clicking Submit, the feed will be added to your site and is added to the list of feeds in your Data Feeds tab.
