Flexitive Bulk Exports allow you to create an export file for a full set of generated automated variations, significantly reducing the amount of time it takes to create designs that are ready to upload to your Ad Server, DSP, or CMS tool.
Bulk exports for automated variations are available after you have generated your design variations. For more information on how to generate automated variations, check out our article on Generating Automated Variations.
How to Bulk Export Designs
Flexitive bulk exporting is currently supported for Live File Exports for HTML5.
To bulk export a set of Automated variations, do the following:
- Navigate to the folder containing your Master design, and select the More button in the design module.
- Click the Export All button
- The Export Panel will open on the HTML5 > Ad Server > Live File tab
- If you have unpublished changes to one or more of your variations, you may need to Publish your Designs before proceeding to the next step
- Select either “Ad Server / DSP” or “CMS” exports.
- Select the platform you will use to serve the design from the dropdown.
- Apply any required export settings to your design.
- Click Export Designs (XLSX).
This will provide you with an Excel File (XLSX) containing a row for each design size of each variation. All the required information to traffic your design variations is included in the XLSX file, including:
- Design’s title
- Design Metadata
- Size
- A 3rd party tag or iframe to display the design
- A Live URL that can be opened to preview the design
- A record of which platform was selected to export the design for.
Any updates published in Flexitive will automatically apply to live files that have been exported from Flexitive, so you will not need to re-export your designs to see the most up-to-date versions.
Note: Designs exported as Live Files for Ad Servers are hosted on Flexitive servers, and serving fees will apply. Learn more about serving fees.
Publishing Designs Before Exporting
Prior to bulk exporting your automated variations, if you have made edits to any of your designs, you may need to Publish your variations.
Publishing your designs will re-save your work and automatically update any Live Files or Live URLs previously exported from Flexitive with the most recent version of the content. Learn more about Publishing your Design.
When exporting all your designs, if you click the “Publish” button, every design variation you have created will be re-published to its most up-to-date version.
