  • How can I add text to my design?
    • For information on how to add text to your design, check out our article on Adding Text. If you use a webfont for the text in your design, you can style the text in the Text Formatting Panel.

  • Where can I access the font Arial (or other fonts)?
    • Some fonts are available by default as a font on many desktops but are not necessarily available for free as a webfont. Some common examples of this are Arial and Helvetica. In order to use these fonts as webfonts, you need to have a License to use the font on the web.

Flexitive currently supports over 700 free fonts, and some of these will likely be very similar to the font that you need. If you need the font to be a specific font, you can always choose to upload a custom font, use an image of your text, or purchase a fonts.com subscription to access the paid fonts in Flexitive. You can also use a Google font that is similar to the font you are trying to use, such as using Lato or PT Sans instead of Arial or Helvetica.

  • How do I upload a custom font?
    • To upload a custom font, you will need a Self-Hosting Kit to upload into Flexitive. For more information on how to upload a font or create a Self-Hosting Kit, check out our article on Uploading Custom Fonts.

  • How do I add click-trackers to my design?
  • How can I add a custom size?
    • For now, adding custom sizes is done by request. Reach out to a member of the Flexitive Support team at support@flexitive.com and we will add the custom size within 1 business day.

  • How do I crop images?
    • You can crop images using the Fill and Crop option in the Customize panel on the left-hand side of the design. Check out our article on Contain, Fill and Cropping.

  • How do I reduce the file size of my design?
    • When you export a Flexitive project, any images in your project are automatically compressed and cropped to the lowest possible file size without sacrificing image quality. For more information on how to reduce your file size, please see our articles on reducing file size and uploading images.

  • Is it possible to create a template in Flexitive?
    • Using one project as a template for future ones is a fast and easy process. For more information on how to do this, check out our article on adapting projects.

  • How do I export/download my design?
  • Can I export my design as a GIF or MP4 file?
    • In Flexitive, you can export your designs as either an HTML5 design or as a static JPG image. For now, it isn't possible to export your design as a GIF or MP4, but we've received this request before and we’re working on adding the functionality by the end of Q3, 2018.
